There has been a book in my library for a long time. Whenever i saw it, i promised myself always that i would read it the next time but that "next time" came never till the last week. After having started to read i felt sometimes bored and wanted to give up reading. It's called the Disconnected. I'm saying now that i wish i could have read it before. I have finished to read it. I have very different feelings inside me, which i can not explain. It's just like a sad feeling. While you are reading this book you might feel bored, especially at the beginning but then the book becomes a waterfall and brings you fastly to the end.

This book is over. What happened? I'm thinking of myself and others; who is the Disconnected?

If you haven't decided which book to read yet, it's a really good time to discover the world of the Disconnected ones which belong to Oğuz Atay.

Even though it looks big it's actually smaller than you might imagine. While preparing dinner i saw it watching me in the kitchen yesterday and then i took my camera to capture this moment. I've told you before it's really smaller than you might imagine.

When i was a child, i used to believe that i could fly. This belief encouraged me to try to fly several times. My mother was always keeping an eye on me in case i did something wrong. After I have grown up, I discovered that it is not possible to fly without wings in the real world. Then I created my own world in my dreams and realized that i can fly over the beautiful cties and forests without wings. I flied, yes i flied. I flied in the BuBu's realm.

It wasn't until after I actually came across this beautiful flower in garden magazine that I started to see Gladiolus everywhere. I'm trying to learn the names and types of flowers at the moment and slowly select the flowers to decorate my balcony. The genus Gladiolus contains about 260 species. They love the sun light. Apparently i can not have this beauty on my balcony because the weather in Germany is usually cloudy:(

Ancient Figurens From City of Amazons

Antique city Pitane is the northernmost of the 12 Aiolis cities as mentioned by Herodotus. According to the myth, Pitane is founded by the Amazons and is named after the founder. These tiny figurens from this ancient city took my breathe away when I saw them in Pergamon Archaeology Museum. No wonder why we are attached to ancient Greek Style in fashion after thousands of years.

The smiling face at the end of the final match of WTA in Istanbul was Kvitova. However, Turkish tennis lovers loved Azarenka and supported Azarenka until the very end of the match. In the end, thanks to both of them, we watched such a good tennis match and got excited during the whole match. People who have already started counting the days until next year don't seem to be doing wrong.

Last week, after visiting Mercedes-Benz Museum, I realized that this museum offered its visitors more than the expectations from a car museum. With one word, it was a great experience. You can find yourself in the explanation of the historical development of transportation without getting bored. Eventhough I am not very fond of cars, I really enjoyed this museum.

For the celebration of Harper's Bazaar's 15th anniversary, our favorite designers designed custom covers for the magazine. Each beautiful cover of Harper's Bazaar Russia was designed by designers such as Dolce&Gabbana, Micheal Kors, Giorgio Armani, and Moschino. I asked myself which cover I'd pick if I was in Russia and found out that probabilty of getting each one would be pretty high. The conclusion? I guess it's better that I'm not there right now for the sake of my wallet :)

Free People's book, "Through the Decades" book tells us about fashion trends throughout the years from "those old times" to today's modern days. Romantic and misty images of '20s chapter gives us hints about the rest of the book. I just wanted to go back to these old good days, when I saw those picturesque images taken in beautiful European streets and cafes. David Bellemere shot Elsa Hosk, Zuzanna&Julia Bijoch sisters sooooo pretty.

Diesel Black Gold Spring 2012 Collection

Next year's summer theme is reflection for Diesel. This must be the reason of having this many gold and silver garments in the collection. Although I can't imagine myself reflecting that much, I still liked the combination of metallic pieces with white. I especially admired long shirts coming out of mini shorts, combined with masculen jackets. Adorable!

Bebe Spring 2012 Collection

In fact, Bebe is not one of my favorite brands. Additionally, I sometimes find its nightwear over exaggerated. However this collection which was pure white with a romantic Edwardian style took my breath away. Now I found that the company changed its designer and he was brave enough to turn the brand's image upside down. That's a brave move and I am happy to see the result. All these models looking like Gibson Girl are amazingly beautiful in these white clothes made of saten or chiffon, with lots of ribbons, ruffles, and laces.

Gone by the Hurricane Irene

I don't know how I manage it; but I'm pretty good in being in the middle of natural "incidents". I was stuck for 2 days at Dulles Airport in Washington DC last year thanks to the biggest blizzard of recent years, I managed being around US during both Irene hurricane and the earthquake, I managed getting out of London right after volcanic ashes. With such a successful performance record, I guess there will be more coming in future...

I'm happy to have come through my first hurricane experience with no major damage. When it was over, it was such a bless for surfers in town :) I've never seen such big and great waves here before. We don't have any big damage; some cracks on the roof, some dripping on the ceiling, and that's about it. Today, on the other hand, is such a bright and sunny day. As if nothing crazy has just happened; streets are already dry. I managed riding through my first " hurricane party" here! ;)

Long Journey

It's been a crazy week. Packing, seeing people, shopping, packing some more, seeing more people...It's not easy to leave for such a long trip. More than 18 hours of flying across ocean and then looking for a place to move...I'll probably be over busy with moving and getting settled. Lessons to Learn from Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra

It was one of the most enjoyable concerts I've ever attented. The energy of young musicians outspreaded to every corner of the concert hall and captured my soul. Fabulous Gustavo Dudamel's dancing hands over the orchestra were like birds flying with the flow of the wind. I'm so thankful to my sweet husband for such a precious gift! Please give yourself some extra time to watch below video of Danzon No:2 composed by Arturo Marquez to feel the energy of these mythical people who see music as a social movement.

Australian designer Patricia Piccinini's exhibition called "Hold Me Closed to Your Heart " gives viewer the opportunity to see one of the best samples of hyperrealism. Especially, it is very possible to fall into the light in the eyes of the kids and the natural posing of the people that you can't even make sure if they actually act and listen to you secretly :)

As soon as i saw this idea, i thought that i have to do it immediately for my new house. Then i searched the colourful paper which i have at home. Yellow is my favorite color, because of that i try to use it lot. It gives me Energy:=) I am very pleased with the end result. I'm gonna use it on my commode in the hall...After decorating my new house, i'll share all of my idea with you here.

By the way i bought the frame from Ikea...it was about 1.99 Euro.

Sometimes, it's good to "go beyond". Especially if you swerve with no planning, you never know' what time will be bringing. It's good to get out of the routine and make a change; because it gives you the opportunity to experience all kinds of surprises that would make you hold valuable memories. Karatay Caravansaray was one of these surprises that I had during my trip around Anatolia. When its doors were opened, I felt myself as a guest of an undiscovered world.

After Voyage...

As I got closer to city, I just felt like going back to those roads in the below photo. While I was experiencing the last part of an exhausting road trip, firstly because of some road construction, later on due to a very sad traffic accident caused by a truck, we were stuck on the high way for hours. It was a huge mistake to hope something inspiring from the radio: Stay away from TV, radio, newspapers, internet and even from cell phone, and then be bound to listen all those sad news coming out of radio: mass murder in Norway, young death of Amy Winehouse, earthquake in hometown, death tolls in the accident which we just had to pass by....Hey world, when are you planning on giving a break?
