Antique city Pitane is the northernmost of the 12 Aiolis cities as mentioned by Herodotus. According to the myth, Pitane is founded by the Amazons and is named after the founder. These tiny figurens from this ancient city took my breathe away when I saw them in Pergamon Archaeology Museum. No wonder why we are attached to ancient Greek Style in fashion after thousands of years.
