2009 Spring/Summer-Zac Posen

The collection opened with pretty dresses in sorbet that recalled a princess but the clothes that came after moved the attitude into an edgier realm with pieces like a cropped motorcycle jacket and a leopard print dress. Overall, the clothes were more flowing and airy than last season, with ruffles and fabrics that included Lycra jersey and silks, contributing the very general notion of Spring/Summer. At the same time, there was still a feeling of structure that pervaded and was visible in dresses with exaggerated feminine forms like built-up wide hips. I love Zac Posen, even after seeing this show. I have to say that i did not like the collection.
