Daily Inspiration: Library of Karl Lagerfeld

Seeing Karl Lagerfeld's world of books has once again reminded me how much i disliked the e-books and audio books. I must admit their practical sides such as being able download your textbook and read it on the road ( or even sometimes just listening to it), or being able to search easily, as well as being able to share it with no worries whether it would come back to you or not afterwards. However how about other factors? You can't touch and feel the pages. It won't tell that you are actually a real book person. Everybody knows that people play games or surf internet with them most of the time. It will never start a conversation between two people, books have always been a tool to find out if you had something in common with the person you didnot even know or not. How will tablet lovers will make their favorite book signed by its author? Will they ever get books as present from their good friends? Questions, questions...Better to go back to my books... theselby
