A Selection From Replay Collection

I have been hooked up with simple denim styles with no washes and details as much as possible, I haven't even picked any other style for a while.When I saw all these fancy washes, stiches, embroderies at Replay store, I longed for creativity in denim once again. They have all kinds of denim colors, with different styles and fits, and they all rock!

Here is my new beanie!!!

Actually the following post had to be published last week. I could not post it due to lack of internet connection.
Anyway, what you see above is my new beanie,which i knitted. It's not what i really want but it looks quite good and i like it.
Next time i should use the right needle:=)

I thought that at least i can do something for the winter , then i took my wool and needles and start to knit a beanie. I'm inspired by Bob Marleys beanie...After finishing it, i am gonna wear it and take a photo. Hopefully it'll be good..."

New York Fashion Days: Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 Collection

OMG! Are we really going to be full of Polka dots? I guess we are getting closer to the irresistible end since he is one of the biggest trendsetters in the world. In fact, if Polka dots are used well and subtle, they might be workable. However, it seemed a bit exaggerated to me in this collection. Marc Jacobs designed this collection as a reaction of the loose style of 2011 Summer. Therefore, it's strict and fitted just like the elegant ladies of '70s. I think it's better to start dieting from now since we might need it next winter :) Main elements: Latex, lace and Polka dots, lots of lots of Polka dots.

The gowns are pretty, Giselle Bundchen is gorgeus, I have no problem with that. Karl Lagerfelf might have wanted to create a fairytale inspired by a princess, I respect that,too. But isn't there anything more important for a "modern day" princess than waiting for her prince to come ? She starts the day at 10 am with her great white gown with tulle, and can't decide what else to wear for the rest of the day....Decisions, decisions...Life must seem so hard to some of us ( especially to some who are bored of doing fashion design for Chanel).

Outerwear Chicness

These cold days require outerwear day and night. Some of us prefer casual ones, the others like more elegant. No matter which style, they keep us warm and cozy. Not only that though, in these cold days, coats are the main items to keep the chicness.

I remember my mother wearing suits with skirt a looooong time ago. They used to be like an old friend not looking arondc for such a long time. The good news : They are back. It's easy to catch the elegant look with a tweed blazer. Everyone has one of these jackets in their wardrobes. A vintage one from mom or sister is more preferred. I loved this apres-ski extravaganza with D&G. I am normally not a big fun of D&G but I loved every piece of in their winter 2011 collection. Angelina Jolie at NY Premiere of The Tourist

Few things caught my attention when I saw the pics of The Tourist premiere in NY :

1. Angelina Jolie's gown, designed by Vercase Atelier is made of a wool blend fabric ( possibly high quality like pure cashmere or sth) which is indeed unusual for eveningwear. The style is really simple and she is showing legs quite a bit, but most probably because of the material used, I just liked her dress.
2. When did Brad Pitt age so quick like that? Is it just a coincidence that him posing right down the catchword of the movie: " The Perfect Trap?" or is there a meaning in his thoughtful looks?
3. Jonny Depp is awesome as usual. Great style, great look:)
